Renewable Energy Research and Applications (RERA) is a blind peer-review journal. This international journal covers all related fields to renewable energy engineering including power production, distribution, storage, and utilization. In addition to engineering applications of renewable energy, related researches in the fields of environment, society, economy, and policy are enveloped in the scope of the RERA. Herein, we are eager to receive and publish original research papers, review papers, technical reports, and short communications which could be stimulating for mechanical, electrical and chemical engineers, as well as energy- environment scientists that are not presented, submitted or published in any other national or international journals or conferences. RERA is going to publish two volumes in a year. Publishing in RERA gives you this opportunity:

  • Fast-publication period after the peer-review process
  • Accepted manuscripts will be available On-line as fast as possible before preparation of hard-copy versions.

The following items compromise the major scopes of RERA:

  • Biofuels and biomass energy
  • Geothermal energy
  • Hydropower (conventional hydroelectricity, tidal and wave power)
  • Solar energy (thermal and photovoltaic)
  • Wind power

In addition to original research studies, the Renewable Energy Research and Applications encourages researchers to submit their review article which investigates avant-garde topics, determinates emerging and post emerging movements, and recommends future guidelines for developing subjects.

All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity through a trustworthy software named iThenticate to be assured about its originality and then rigorously peer-reviewed by the international reviewers.

All accepted papers will be checked by iThenticate against plagiarism.

RERA respect all aspects of publication ethics of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). COPE is a forum for editors and publishers of peer reviewed journals to discuss all aspects of publication ethics. COPE provides advice to editors and publishers on all aspects of publication ethics and, in particular, how to handle cases of research and publication misconduct. COPE does not investigate individual cases but encourages editors to ensure that cases are investigated by the appropriate authorities (usually a research institution or employer).

RERA has no publication charges and no submission fees.
